Yorkshire cyclists hungry for ‘Moor’

An all-new cycle sportive launches on Friday 3rd February for cyclists of all abilities keen to venture into the North Yorkshire Moors.

 

 Struggle The Moors will take place on Sunday 9th July from Ampleforth College. The grueling new event from Harrogate-based cycling company Struggle Events, takes in 10,299ft over 109 miles. The route is set to be even more challenging than the company’s established event Struggle The Dales, which begins at Harrogate Army Foundation College on Sunday 21st May.

So, a confession. This site’s called North Yorkshire Cycling. Its purpose is to celebrate cycling in Yorkshire. I’ve lived in Yorkshire all my life. And yet it’s only really in adulthood that I became patriotic about a County that is known the world over for being fiercely proud of itself. So what took so long?
